The girls mostly commented that they would vote for the one who would save girl child and provide them safety. "I will support a candidate who supports women empowerment." Most the other comments too were on the similar lines.
Kavita, a 19-year-old BA second-year student, said she wanted to feel secure in the City Beautiful. "My only motive behind voting this time is to get a feeling of being safe in my own city. I will cast my vote to the one who will provide girls and daughters of the city safety. I know even a single vote counts. So, I would like other youngsters to rise up and vote for women safety and bring a change."
Alka Yadav, a 23-year-old MA student, was a first time voter and keen to use her right proficiently. "My vote is obviously going for the candidate who will support women empowerment and safety which will guarantee us a secure future. We are obviously not going to support any candidate who makes fake promises to the general public."
